Yes. You scan a barcode or tap an item and can print your own barcode labels. Loose goods by the kilo come from a label-scale barcode. Each delivery keeps its cost and expiry date, so you see what is going off in 30, 60 or 90 days.
The counter keeps billing and sends the bills when the internet is back.
Customers in Chile pay by Redcompra (debit), Webpay / credit cards, bank transfer, Mercado Pago, cash. You take the payment on the máquina de tarjetas / POS bancario you already own or in cash, and Nivasik records it on the bill. It does not process card payments, so there are no processing fees from us.
Electronic sales receipts (boleta electrónica) have been mandatory under Ley 21.210 since 2021, issued through SII's free system or SII-certified software, with a daily sales summary sent to SII. From 1 May 2025 businesses with printers must give a printed copy of the receipt or payment voucher, and businesses without printing had until 1 March 2026 to deliver it digitally. Where a certified or registered system is required, keep it and use Nivasik beside it for stock, staff and expenses. You set the tax rate on each item and your accountant files; Nivasik does not file tax or connect to a tax authority.
