Yes. A table QR lets a guest order from their phone. A server confirms the order with the table before the kitchen sees it, so a guest cannot send an order nobody checked.
The counter keeps billing and sends the bills when the internet is back. The kitchen screen and table orders need the internet.
Customers in Ethiopia pay by Cash, Telebirr and other mobile money, Bank transfers and mobile banking such as CBE Birr. You take the payment on the POS machine / card terminal you already own or in cash, and Nivasik records it on the bill. It does not process card payments, so there are no processing fees from us.
Under Regulation No. 139/2007, businesses it covers must use an approved sales register machine bought from a recognised supplier. The machine records sales and VAT each day and is connected to the tax authority's central computer. Where a certified or registered system is required, keep it and use Nivasik beside it for stock, staff and expenses. You set the tax rate on each item and your accountant files; Nivasik does not file tax or connect to a tax authority.
