Yes. You scan a barcode or tap an item and can print your own barcode labels. Loose goods by the kilo come from a label-scale barcode. Each delivery keeps its cost and expiry date, so you see what is going off in 30, 60 or 90 days.
The counter keeps billing and sends the bills when the internet is back.
Customers in Rwanda pay by MTN MoMo, Airtel Money, Bank transfer, Cards, Cash. You take the payment on the POS machine / card machine you already own or in cash, and Nivasik records it on the bill. It does not process card payments, so there are no processing fees from us.
Every VAT-registered taxpayer must use an Electronic Billing Machine (EBM) to issue a tax invoice on every transaction (VAT law No 37/2012, article 24). The EBM must be a certified one from a licensed supplier, every customer gets a receipt, copies are kept for ten years, and a fault is reported within six hours. Where a certified or registered system is required, keep it and use Nivasik beside it for stock, staff and expenses. You set the tax rate on each item and your accountant files; Nivasik does not file tax or connect to a tax authority.
