What Nivasik does not do
Said plainly, before you decide
- It does not file GST returns or issue e-invoices or e-way bills. GST data is exported, and Tally is an import file, not a live link.
- It does not calculate or file statutory payroll (PF, ESI, TDS). It works out pay from attendance, takes advances off, and locks a payslip.
- There is no combined screen across properties. Each property is separate and you switch between them.
- It has no manufacturing planning or sales CRM, and it is not double-entry accounting.

What is the cheapest ERP for a small business in India?
Odoo has a free single app and Nivasik is ₹0 for your first 45 days. Beyond that, published yearly prices start in the thousands. Implementation is often the larger cost, so ask for it in writing.
Is Nivasik an ERP?
It runs daily operations (counter, stock, purchases, staff, expenses) on one set of books for a hotel, restaurant or shop. It is not double-entry accounting and has no manufacturing or CRM suite, so a strict buyer would not call it a full ERP.
Does a small business need an ERP at all?
Often not. If your trouble is bills, stock, credit and salaries, you need those done well in one place, not a suite with a partner and a project plan.
Is there free ERP software for India?
