Nivasik is free for 45 days: the whole product, every module unlocked from day one, no card, and we do the setup. It is a trial of the paid product — on day 46 a property moves to a paid plan or stops.
If you stop, nothing is deleted at that moment: the account turns read-only, with every record kept, until billing is active. The calculators on this site are a different thing — free to use, with no account at all.
What the 45 days include
- Everything unlocked from day one — the PMS, the POS, staff and pay, expenses and every report. It is the paid product, not a cut-down edition.
- We set it up with you, in about a day: rooms, outlets or spaces, the menu, staff, rate types and prices, response targets per category, and the QR codes to print. An existing room list in Excel can be imported.
- No card, no payment details. We invoice you only if you decide to stay.
- On the phones you already have — any browser on a phone, tablet or computer, plus an Android app from nivasik.com. English and Hindi.
- Your data stays yours. Each property’s records are kept apart by the database itself; you can have an export on request.
What happens on day 46
Three things can happen, and you choose which.
- Nothing is deleted. If no plan has been chosen, the account turns read-only: every booking, bill and record is still there to look at, and nothing new can be written.
- Choose a plan and it opens again — write access comes back as soon as billing is active.
- Or stop for good. Ask for an export of your data, then ask us to delete it: offboarding really deletes it, scanned ID documents included. There is no lock-in period and no exit fee.

- One flat price per property a month — no per-guest fees, no usage meters and no setup fee.
- Annual prepay: pay for 10 months, get 12.
- You pay by bank transfer or UPI against a monthly or annual invoice. There is no card payment inside the product.
- Cancel any time; it ends at the end of the month.

There are ways to do this without paying anybody. Each is worth knowing, and each has a cost that is not on a price list.
A notebook and a calculator
Costs almost nothing and works in a power cut. What it costs is time: every total is added by hand, nobody away from the desk can see it, and an entry can be changed later with nothing to show it was.
A spreadsheet
Free, flexible, and good for a list one person keeps. It struggles when three people edit it on three phones, when a formula is typed over, or when you need to know what it said last Tuesday.
A WhatsApp group
Free and already on every phone, which is why so many small businesses run on one. Messages scroll away, nobody owns a request, and there is no clock and no total at the end of the day.
Open-source software
Free to licence, and some of it is good. You run it yourself: the server, installing it, updates, backups and security are yours, and Indian GST invoices, Form C or a khata usually need adapting.

Questions people ask
Is Nivasik free?
For 45 days, yes — the full product with every module, and no card. After that it is a paid plan: Core ₹2,999, Pro ₹4,999 or Group ₹2,499 per property a month, or ₹1,499 per outlet for a restaurant or shop on the POS alone. The first 20 properties get Core at ₹1,999 a month, locked for 24 months.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. There is no card to give and nothing to cancel. We invoice you only if you decide to stay, and you pay by bank transfer or UPI.
What happens to my data after 45 days?
Nothing is deleted when the trial ends. The account becomes read-only, with every record kept, and write access comes back as soon as billing is active. If you leave, you can ask for an export and then for the data to be deleted.
Can I keep using Nivasik without paying after the trial?
No. After 45 days a property moves to a paid plan or the account stays read-only. The calculators on this site stay free to use, with no account.
Is the setup free?
There is no setup fee. We do the setup during the trial — rooms, outlets, menu, staff, prices and QR codes — usually in about a day.
What do the free tools cost?
Nothing. The salary, GST, food cost, delivery commission, occupancy and margin calculators and the attendance register need no sign-up, and nothing you type in them leaves your device.
