Free for everyone

Free online ordering for restaurants and shops — ₹0, no commission

A store link of your own for pick-up and delivery orders, at your own prices, ringing on your counter — paid when the order is collected or delivered.

Free for everyone · ₹0 · no card · opening offer, until further notice · we do the setup

Nivasik’s online ordering is free for everyone — ₹0 under an opening offer, until further notice — and Nivasik takes no commission on an order. You get a store link of your own for pick-up and delivery orders; each order rings on your counter, and the customer follows it on their phone.

The customer pays when the order is collected or delivered: there is no card payment or payment gateway on the store page.

How an online order flows

  1. Share your store link — in your Instagram bio, your Google listing, a WhatsApp status, or printed on the bill. It shows your own menu at your own prices.
  2. The customer orders for pick-up or delivery, with a name, a mobile number and, for delivery, the address. You choose a packing charge, a delivery charge (or free delivery), the smallest order you deliver and the pincodes you deliver to.
  3. It rings on your counter with a chime. You accept it or turn it down; the kitchen gets it like any other order.
  4. The customer’s page follows it: waiting for you to accept it, being prepared, ready to collect or on its way, and collected or delivered.
  5. It is paid on collection or delivery, by cash, UPI or card, and the bill carries the customer — so they build up points and a history like anyone at the counter.

What you keep

A delivery app charges a commission on every order, often on top of a menu marked up to absorb it. An order on your own link carries no commission from Nivasik, and the price on the page is your counter price. What the delivery itself costs you — a rider, fuel, packing — is yours to charge or to absorb, and the store page shows the customer every charge before they send the order.

The same link works as a kiosk: put a tablet at the counter, and customers order on it and pay at the counter when their number shows.

Who uses it

  • Restaurants and cloud kitchens that want their regulars to order direct instead of through an app.
  • Sweet shops and bakeries taking orders for pick-up from customers who would rather not queue.
  • Kirana and grocery stores delivering to the houses around them, within the pincodes they choose.

What it costs

What it costs — ₹0 under the opening offer
Plan and priceWhat it covers
POS add-on
₹0 per outlet / month
The store link, its orders on the counter and the customer’s order page — with the counter, per outlet; no commission per order
  • Every plan and add-on is ₹0 and the whole product is unlocked for everyone. No per-guest fees, no usage meters and no setup fee.
  • There is no card to give and nothing to pay.

This is an opening offer. We may change it, or end it, at any time, without prior notice. If the offer changes or ends, any price applies from then. Your records stay yours and can be exported on request.

What it does not do

Said plainly, before you start

  • There is no online payment on the store page: no card payment and no payment gateway. Taking payment online would need a gateway such as Razorpay, PayU or Cashfree in your own name, with its own KYC, and none is connected.
  • There are no delivery riders or courier booking: delivery is yours to arrange.
  • Swiggy and Zomato orders do not arrive by themselves yet — they are punched in at the counter. Taking them in by themselves needs a connection through UrbanPiper, which is not live yet (each app keeps its order feed for approved partners).

Free tools for selling direct

What an app order leaves you, against a direct one. No account and no sign-up.

Other free ways to do this, and what they cost

Nivasik is not the only free way to do this. Each of these is worth knowing, and each has a cost that is not on a price list.

A WhatsApp group

Free and already on every phone, which is why so many small businesses run on one. Messages scroll away, nobody owns a request, and there is no clock and no total at the end of the day.

A free edition of a paid product

Some software has a free edition with limits on rooms, bills or users. Read what the limit is, and what happens to your records the day you pass it.

Orders over phone calls

Free and personal. Orders are written on a pad while the phone rings again; a wrong address or a missing item shows up only when the customer calls back.
