Free for everyone

Free QR menu and table ordering for restaurants — ₹0

A QR sticker on every table, a menu on the diner’s own phone with no app and no login, and every order checked by a waiter before the kitchen cooks it.

Free for everyone · ₹0 · no card · opening offer, until further notice · we do the setup

Nivasik’s QR menu and table ordering is free for everyone — ₹0 under an opening offer, until further notice. Each table gets its own QR sticker; a diner scans it with the phone camera, sees your menu and sends an order — no app and no login — and the order appears on the counter and the waiter’s phone.

By default a waiter reads the order back to the table before the kitchen sees it, so nothing is cooked for a table that did not order it.

From the scan to the kitchen

  1. Print the stickers: every table gets a QR code from Nivasik, ready to print and stick down.
  2. The diner scans and browses the menu by category, with a search, veg and non-veg marks, and photos where you added them.
  3. They send the order with a name and a mobile number. Before it goes, the menu is read again: a price that changed or a dish switched off is shown to them, and nothing is sent until they see it.
  4. It rings on the counter and the waiter’s phone within seconds, as an order to check — not yet on the kitchen screen.
  5. A waiter checks it with the table: “Confirmed — send to the kitchen”, change it, or “They did not order this”, which the table’s page shows them with the reason.
  6. The table’s page follows it: received, sent to the kitchen — and the bill is paid at the end, by cash, UPI on the bill’s QR, or card.

Why a waiter checks a QR order first

A QR order that goes straight to the kitchen is fast until a table says it never ordered the paneer that is already cooked. Holding a QR order until a person has read it back to the table costs a few seconds and saves the dish. It is a switch per counter — on by default — and an order the customer pays for at the counter is taken as checked.

A sold-out dish is refused too: switch a dish off and no phone, however long its menu page has been open, can order it.

The same QR idea, elsewhere

  • Hotel rooms: a room’s QR lets a guest ask for towels or report a problem, and order room service — each request with one owner and a clock.
  • Your own online store: a link for pick-up and delivery orders — see free online ordering.
  • The bill: a UPI QR for the exact amount, paid to your own UPI ID, and a QR for a Google review.

What it costs

What it costs — ₹0 under the opening offer
Plan and priceWhat it covers
POS add-on
₹0 per outlet / month
Table QR ordering, the stickers, the waiter’s check and the order on the counter and kitchen — with the counter, per outlet
  • Every plan and add-on is ₹0 and the whole product is unlocked for everyone. No per-guest fees, no usage meters and no setup fee.
  • There is no card to give and nothing to pay.

This is an opening offer. We may change it, or end it, at any time, without prior notice. If the offer changes or ends, any price applies from then. Your records stay yours and can be exported on request.

What it does not do

Said plainly, before you start

  • There is no online payment on the QR page: the table pays at the end, at the counter or on the bill’s UPI QR.
  • The mobile number a diner types is not verified — no code is sent; the waiter’s check is the safeguard.
  • A second order from a table that is already eating is a second bill, which the counter can merge with the first by hand.
  • Ordering needs the internet on the diner’s phone and on your counter.

Other free ways to do this, and what they cost

Nivasik is not the only free way to do this. Each of these is worth knowing, and each has a cost that is not on a price list.

A free edition of a paid product

Some software has a free edition with limits on rooms, bills or users. Read what the limit is, and what happens to your records the day you pass it.

A free QR code that opens a PDF menu

Free and quick to make. It shows the menu and nothing else: the waiter still takes the order by hand, and a dish that sold out is still on the PDF.

A printed menu

Every restaurant has one, and it costs a reprint each time a price moves. The order still goes from the table to the kitchen by hand.

Do diners need to download an app?

No. They scan the table’s QR with the phone camera and the menu opens in the browser, with no app and no login.
