Nivasik is operations software made in India for independent hotels, hostels and resorts, for restaurants and cafes, for shops of every kind, and for offices. It covers the front desk (a hotel PMS), the counter (POS and billing), the people (roles, attendance, salary and payslips) and the money (expenses and a day book) on one ledger, so a room night, a restaurant bill and a salary land in the same day’s figures.

Four counters usually mean four systems that disagree by Friday. Here is what posting to one set of books looks like in practice.
- A dinner in the restaurant posts to the guest’s room and is paid at check-out, so the folio and the restaurant’s takings agree.
- A salary advance handed over in cash is money out in that day’s book, and comes off that person’s payslip at the month’s end.
- A delivery of milk on credit raises stock and what you owe the supplier in one step; paying the supplier later is the expense.
- A geyser back from repair goes into store, and its stock line goes up by one.
- A complimentary breakfast is booked at its menu price with the reason beside it, so a month of giveaways can be added up.
- Every counter works to the same business date, so a bill at 00:30 lands on the night that took it, whichever counter rang it up.

What it does not do
Across every product, four things need an account only the business can open, or do not exist yet.
Not included, said plainly
- No payment gateway or card terminal: payments are recorded by method, and the booking page is pay-at-the-property.
- Calendars, not rates: the channel manager keeps dates in step with Airbnb and Booking.com by iCal and cannot push prices into MakeMyTrip, Goibibo or Agoda.
- Guest messages open WhatsApp, SMS or email with one tap; nothing is sent automatically. Swiggy and Zomato orders are punched in.
- Tax and accounts leave as exports — GSTR-1 data and a Tally import file — with no e-invoice, e-way bill or return filed.
What it costs
One flat price per property a month, with no per-guest fees, no usage meters and no setup fee: Core ₹2,999 for up to 40 units, Pro ₹4,999 for up to 80, and Group ₹2,499 per property from three properties. The POS is ₹1,499 per outlet on any plan or on its own. Annual prepay: pay for 10 months, get 12.
Questions people ask
Is Nivasik a PMS or a POS?
Both, on one ledger. The PMS runs the front desk of a hotel, hostel or resort; the POS runs a restaurant, cafe or shop counter; staff, salaries and expenses sit beside them. A shop is shown a shop’s screens, not hotel modules.
Can I buy only the billing software?
Yes. The POS is sold on its own at ₹1,499 per outlet a month to a restaurant or shop that is not a hotel, and alongside any plan for one that is.
Is there a free version?
Every plan starts with 45 days free, with the whole product unlocked and no card. After that it is a paid plan or it stops — nothing is deleted; the account goes read-only. The calculators under Free tools are free to use.
Does it run on a phone?
Yes — a phone, a tablet or a computer, in the browser, with nothing to install. Android phones can also take the app from nivasik.com, and an iPhone adds the property’s link to its home screen from Safari.
Which languages does it support?
English and Hindi, switched with one tap on each phone. Guest names, room numbers and amounts are never translated.
