Booking engine
Hotel booking engine for direct bookings, paid at the property
A page of your own that quotes your real prices for real dates and puts the booking straight on your room rack. What it does not do comes first.
Free for 45 days · no card · we do the setup
Nivasik’s booking engine is your own public booking page: it quotes from your rate calendar, shows the room types you choose to sell, and puts each booking straight onto your room rack with no commission. The guest pays at the property, because there is no card payment or payment gateway on the page.
The booking page comes with the Group plan (₹2,499 per property a month, from three properties) and is open to every property during the 45-day free trial.
Read this first: what the booking page does not do
- It does not take money. A booking made on it is “pay at the property”. No card number is asked for or stored anywhere in the system.
- Card or UPI payment on the page needs a payment gateway — Razorpay, PayU or Cashfree — opened in the property’s own name with its own KYC. That account is yours to open; Nivasik cannot open it for you, and none is connected today.
- It is not a listing on MakeMyTrip, Goibibo or Agoda. Calendar sync with Airbnb and Booking.com is a separate feature, on the channel manager page.
- It never sells a non-refundable plan. A guest on the page books a rate that can be cancelled under your policy.
What the page does
One link you control, quoting prices you already set.
- Quotes from the rate calendar: the same room types, plans and per-night prices your front desk uses, for the dates the guest picks.
- Sells the right plan: your best available rate if it allows free cancellation, otherwise the cheapest plan that does, otherwise the room type’s standard price.
- Keeps your stay rules: the fewest and most nights, how far ahead a booking can be made, and how many rooms one booking can hold.
- Confirms by itself, or waits: switch automatic confirmation off and each booking arrives as tentative for someone to confirm.
- Lands on the room rack like any other booking, so the rack’s refusal of double bookings covers it too.
- Says it in your words: a headline, a short introduction, your cancellation policy and a link to your terms.
- Will not go live quietly at ₹0: if no room has a price yet, it asks before switching the page on.
How a direct booking flows
- A guest opens your link — from an Instagram bio, a Google listing, a WhatsApp reply — and picks dates.
- The page quotes each room type you sell, from your calendar and within your stay rules.
- The guest leaves a name and a phone number, and the booking is confirmed or tentative, as you chose.
- It appears in Reservations and on the rack, with the room held for those nights.
- On arrival: check-in, the ID on file, the folio opened — and payment taken at the desk, by any method you accept.
Why pay-at-property is the honest default
Many small properties already take payment at the desk. A checkout that collects card details needs a payment gateway and KYC in the property’s own name, and until that exists, a page that plainly says “pay at the property” is better than one that pretends to take money.
What you keep is the whole room rate: a direct booking carries no commission. The page lists the direct bookings it has taken, their nights and their value, so you can see what the link is worth over a season.
What it costs
The booking page and channel sync come with Group at ₹2,499 per property a month, from three properties, together with everything in Pro. Every screen, the booking page included, is open during the 45-day free trial with no card; the pricing page lists what each plan unlocks.
Questions people ask
What is a hotel booking engine?
The booking form on a property’s own website or link, where a guest picks dates, sees prices and books directly instead of through a travel site. Nivasik’s quotes from the same rate calendar the front desk uses.
Can guests pay online on the booking page?
No. Bookings are paid at the property. Online payment would need a Razorpay, PayU or Cashfree gateway in the property’s own name, and none is connected.
Is there a commission on direct bookings?
No. A booking made on your own page carries no commission.
Can I use it without a website?
Yes. The page is its own link, so it can live in an Instagram bio, a Google listing or a WhatsApp reply without any website at all.
Does it stop double bookings with Airbnb and Booking.com?
Inside Nivasik, the rack refuses a double booking outright. Across platforms, the channel manager’s calendar sync keeps dates in step, but because feeds are read on a schedule, two bookings made close together on two sites can still collide.
Is the booking engine free?
It is open during the 45-day free trial with everything else. After that it is part of the Group plan.
