Resort management software for independent resorts

Cottages across a hillside, a pool, a lawn for weddings, a restaurant and a bar — and a maintenance list longer than the room list.

Free for 45 days · no card · we do the setup

Nivasik runs an independent resort on one ledger: rooms, cottages and villas on a rack that refuses double bookings, groups and wedding blocks, a restaurant, bar and poolside cafe as separate outlets whose bills post to the guest’s stay, and an asset register with maintenance schedules for a property spread over acres. Requests come from a QR sticker in every cottage and common area, with a clock on each.

A resort’s front desk and maintenance run on Pro at ₹4,999 per property a month for up to 80 units, each restaurant or bar is ₹1,499 per outlet, and everything is open for 45 days free.

A property spread over acres

In a resort the guest is often a ten-minute walk from reception, and “call the desk” is not a real option. A QR sticker in each cottage, by the pool and on the lawn turns a request into a ticket that reaches the right person’s phone, with the location already on it and a target running. At night, security gets its requests the same way — and a critical one rings the Android app through a silent phone.

Cottages, villas, tents and rooms are all units with their own types and rates. Weekends, long weekends and the season are priced per night on the rate calendar, and the plans still tracking the standard price move with it when you change it.

Weddings, offsites and groups

Groups and blocks and the city ledger come with the Group plan.

  • Blocks: hold twenty rooms for a wedding, then release the ones the family does not use, before the date rather than after.
  • Company offsites on account: the city ledger keeps what each company owes and what it has paid.
  • Welcome drinks and complimentary dinners recorded at their real price with a reason, so the cost of a wedding’s extras is known.
  • One final bill for a stay even when it ran across two folios.

Two outlets, or three

The restaurant, the bar and a poolside cafe can each be an outlet at ₹1,499 a month, with its own menu, its own takings, its own costs and its own day. A table’s bill posts to the guest’s cottage and is settled at check-out; a walk-in pays at the counter. The owner sees each outlet on its own, so the bar is not hiding inside the restaurant’s numbers.

Keeping the place running

A resort weekend

  1. Friday — a wedding block of eighteen rooms is confirmed; four unused rooms are released back to sale.
  2. Saturday morning — the pool pump’s service ticket was raised on Thursday and closed on Friday.
  3. Saturday night — the bar and the restaurant each run their own outlet; dinners post to cottages.
  4. Sunday — check-outs settle in one bill per stay, complimentary welcome drinks shown at zero with their value recorded.
  5. Monday — the day book shows the weekend by cash, UPI and card, and the city ledger what the wedding family still owes.

What it does not do

Particularly for resorts far from a city.

Not included, said plainly

  • The resort’s screens need an internet connection; there is no offline mode for hotel screens, so patchy Wi-Fi at the desk is worth fixing first.
  • No payment gateway, and no door-lock or key-card integration.
  • Calendar sync is iCal with Airbnb and Booking.com only; rates are not pushed to other travel sites.
  • No combined screen yet for owners of several resorts; each property is opened on its own.

What it costs

Pro at ₹4,999 per property a month covers up to 80 units with the front desk, billing, housekeeping, maintenance schedules, expenses and inventory. Group at ₹2,499 per property (from three) adds groups and blocks, the city ledger, cashier shifts, the booking page and channel sync, and people and pay. Each restaurant, bar or cafe is ₹1,499 per outlet.

Questions people ask

Can it handle cottages, villas and tents?

Yes. Each is a unit with its own type and rates, on the same rack and housekeeping board as ordinary rooms.

Can I block rooms for a wedding?

Yes, with groups and blocks on the Group plan: hold the rooms, then release what the party does not use.

Can the restaurant and bar be billed separately?

Yes. Each is its own outlet at ₹1,499 a month, with its own takings and day, and both can post bills to a guest’s stay.

Does it work where the internet is patchy?

Hotel screens need a connection. The Android app opens from the phone itself and tells staff plainly when they are offline, but bookings and bills are written only when the connection is there.

Can guests raise requests from the pool or the lawn?

Yes. Common areas get their own QR stickers, and a request from one reaches the right person with its location on it.
