Customer growth

Restaurant CRM and customer growth software, built on your own bills

Who stopped coming, who came once, who would bring a friend — read off the bills your counter or front desk already keeps, with a message ready for each of them.

Free for 45 days · no card · read-only on day 46, nothing deleted · we do the setup

Growth is the customer side of Nivasik for restaurants, cafes, shops of every kind and hotels: it sorts everyone on your bills into plain segments — new, regulars, slipping away, came once — and turns campaigns, referrals and review asks into WhatsApp drafts written from each customer’s own history.

Nothing is sent or posted by itself: each draft opens in your own WhatsApp for you to send, at most 40 a day, and every number and suggestion comes from your own business.

Read this first: what Growth does not do

  • Nothing is sent or posted by itself. Every WhatsApp message is a draft that opens in your own WhatsApp for you to send — at most 40 a day, counted together with Bring them back. Sending without a person would need a WhatsApp Business API account with Meta-approved templates, which is not set up.
  • Nivasik posts no reply on Google and nothing on Instagram or Facebook. Replies and captions are written for you to copy and post; doing it for you would need Google’s and Meta’s approval, which Nivasik does not have.
  • Automatic Google rank checks need a Google Places key that Nivasik has not set. Until it is, positions are recorded by hand.
  • No points, discount or gift for a review, and no asking only happy customers: Google’s review policy forbids both, so the ask goes to everyone billed.
  • Every suggestion comes from your own numbers. Nothing is learned from other businesses, and no rank, AI-assistant mention or extra revenue is promised.

Who it is for

A customer is on the list once a paid bill or a stay carries them with a mobile number, in the last year; a cash sale with nobody on it is not. An erased customer never appears, and one marked ‘do not contact’ is never offered a draft.

  • Restaurants and cafes with regulars: the family that orders every Sunday, the office that sends for lunch — and the ones who quietly stopped.
  • Sweet shops, kiranas, medical stores and shops of every kind, where the same households come back every week or every month and a gap means something.
  • Hotels, homestays and hostels, where a stay and the bills on it count together, and a guest who came twice in a year is a regular.
  • An online seller’s counter and wholesale customers — without the Google review ask or the Google & AI tab, because a marketplace listing is not a Maps listing.

Seven tabs, one job each

In the app it sits under Money for a restaurant, a shop or an online seller, and under Guests for a hotel — in English or Hindi.

TabWhat it does
This weekUp to six cards worked out from your own numbers, each with the one button that acts on it.
CustomersEveryone with a bill or a stay in the last year, sorted into segments, with visits, spend, the usual gap between visits and the item they buy most.
CampaignsA segment, a message and, if you like, an offer code, turned into a queue of WhatsApp drafts — then what happened after.
ReferralsA code for each customer and points for both sides when a friend’s first bill is paid.
ReviewsA review ask to everyone billed in the last two days, and a drafted reply to a review you log.
Google & AIA checklist for the Google profile, a log of where you appear for your own search phrases, and an answer kit of your own facts.
PostsIdeas for a post from what is happening at the business, with a caption to copy, and a record of what went up.

Segments, each one rule

Every segment is a rule you can check against a customer’s own bills by hand — no score, nothing you cannot trace.

SegmentWho is in it
NewOne visit, in the last 30 days.
RegularsThree or more visits, and the last one within one and a half times their own usual gap between visits (never less than 30 days).
Slipping awayThree or more visits, and now overdue: more than one and a half times their usual gap since the last (at least 21 days), but under 120 days.
Came onceOne visit, 31 to 120 days ago.
Now and thenTwo visits, the last within 120 days.
Not back in 4 monthsThe last visit was more than 120 days ago.

A visit is a business day with at least one paid or posted bill, or a stay’s check-in day; two bills on one day are one visit.

A hotel’s segments count stays and bills together: new is one stay in the last 60 days, regulars have two or more stays in a year, came once is one stay 61 to 365 days ago, and the rest have not been back in over a year.

Big spender is a flag beside the segment, not a segment: the top tenth by spend among customers with two or more visits, leaving out those who have stopped coming (four months for a counter business, a year for a hotel).

Campaigns, and what “came back” means

A campaign is the list of people to message and the words to send them. You are the one who presses send.

  1. A campaign is a name, a segment (or everyone), a message and, if you choose, an offer code made in Offers. Kinds: an offer, a dish, an event with its date, a win-back, birthdays, a reminder, a review ask, a referral.
  2. The message can carry the customer’s name, the business’s name, the offer code and a link, filled in for each person.
  3. Each customer in the segment becomes one draft. A tap opens WhatsApp with it typed in; each customer gets at most one draft per campaign.
  4. An offer, a dish, an event, a win-back or a birthday campaign reaches only customers who said yes to offers; a review ask, a referral or a reminder does not need that yes; a customer marked ‘do not contact’ is never on any list.
  5. The drafts opened across Growth and Bring them back count together, at most 40 a day.

A campaign’s results are counted, not attributed: how many drafts were opened, how many of those customers came back for a paid bill within 14 days and what they spent, and how often its offer code was used and on how much. ‘Opened’ means opened in your WhatsApp — Nivasik cannot see whether you pressed send.

Referrals, paid in points

A friend brought by a regular is credited only when the friend’s first bill is actually paid.

  • Switched on by the owner, who sets the points the customer who refers earns, the points the friend gets, and how many referrals one customer can be credited for in a month (20 unless changed).
  • Every customer can have a code of their own, 4 to 12 letters and digits, shared from a draft.
  • The friend’s code is entered against them before their first paid bill. When that first bill is paid, both get their points by themselves, once; a second bill adds nothing.
  • It refuses a code nobody has, a customer’s own code, a friend who already has a paid bill or a stay, a friend already referred, and a referrer over the month’s limit.
  • Points move only while loyalty points are switched on, and the owner can cancel a referral with a reason.

Review asks, and the rule that is not bent

Asking every customer is within Google’s review policy; paying for a review, or asking only the customers you expect to be happy, is not.

  • The review ask goes to every customer billed in the last two days who has a mobile number and has not been asked, with the business’s own Google review link.
  • There are no points, discount or gift for a review, and the ask is not held back from anyone because of what they said on the feedback form — Google’s review policy forbids both, and the Reviews tab says so.
  • For a review you log in Nivasik, a short reply is drafted; you copy it and post it on Google yourself.

Your Google listing, AI search and posts

Being found is the other half of coming back. Here Growth writes and records; Google and Instagram stay in your hands.

Google profile checklist

A checklist of what a complete Google profile carries, ticked by you as you fill each item in on Google.

Post planner

The post planner suggests a post when something happens — a new dish or item, the week’s best seller, an offer, a five-star review, a festival — with a caption to copy, a button that opens Instagram, and a record of what was posted or dropped. A caption never names a price or an offer your own records do not hold.

Search phrases and the rank log

Up to five search phrases and up to five nearby competitors of your choice. Where you appeared for each phrase on a date, with your rating and review count, so the trend is in one place. The automatic check — your position in the first 20 results within about 5 km, and the rating and review count of you and your competitors, weekly — runs only once Nivasik has a Google Places key, which is not set; until then you record the positions yourself.

Answer kit for AI search

The answer kit writes a short description, what the business is known for, common questions with their answers, and a block of schema.org JSON-LD, all from your own records, for you to paste on your own website or Google profile. It cannot make an AI assistant mention you; it makes what you publish about yourself complete and correct.

A reply, a caption or the short description starts as a draft written from your own business’s facts and nothing else, and you change it before pasting it anywhere.

This week: six cards at most

Each card is drawn only when it is true for your business this week, shows what is at stake in your own money, and opens the tab that deals with it.

  • Regulars who are overdue against their own rhythm, with what their usual bill adds up to.
  • People who came once in the last four months and have not come back.
  • Customers billed in the last two days who have not been asked for a review.
  • No Google review link on file.
  • Referrals switched off while ten or more regulars could use them.
  • Birthdays and anniversaries in the next seven days.
  • The slowest day of the week, when it sells under 60% of the best one over eight weeks.
  • Fewer than three in ten bills in the last 30 days carrying a customer.
  • Nothing posted in a week when there is something to post about.
  • A search phrase three or more places lower than the time before.

What it does not do

What else it leaves out, said here so nobody plans around it.

Not included, said plainly

  • Paid ads on Google, Instagram or Facebook.
  • One screen that adds several outlets or properties together.
  • Editing the Google profile itself: the checklist says what to fill in, and you fill it in on Google.
  • A customer with no mobile number on a bill cannot be reached from Growth.

What it costs

What Growth costs is not published yet. Ask on WhatsApp before you count on it; the line below is what the rest of Nivasik costs.

Questions people ask

What is a restaurant CRM?

A record of who your customers are, what each one ordered and when, used to bring them back. Nivasik builds it from the bills your counter already prints, so there is nothing to import and no second list to keep.

Can Nivasik send WhatsApp campaigns by itself?

No. Each message opens in your own WhatsApp with the text typed in, and you press send. Sending without a person needs a WhatsApp Business API account with templates approved by Meta, which is not set up.

How does the referral program work?

You switch it on and set the points: so many for the customer who refers, so many for the friend. The friend’s code is entered before their first paid bill, and when that bill is paid both are credited, once, by themselves.

Can I give points or a discount for a Google review?

No, and Nivasik will not do it for you. Google’s review policy does not allow anything in exchange for a review, or asking only the customers you expect to be happy, so the ask goes to everyone you billed.

Will it get my business into the top 3 on Google Maps?

Nothing here promises a rank. Growth keeps the Google profile checklist and a log of where you appeared for the phrases you chose; the automatic check waits on a Google Places key that Nivasik has not set, so for now you note the position yourself.

Will ChatGPT recommend my restaurant?

Nivasik cannot make ChatGPT or any other AI assistant mention you. The answer kit writes your own facts — a description, what you are known for, common questions and schema.org JSON-LD — for you to paste on your website and Google profile.

Does it work for shops and hotels too?

Yes. A shop’s regulars are read from its counter bills, and a hotel’s from its stays and the bills on them, where two stays in a year make a regular. An online seller uses it for its counter and wholesale customers.

Run your own place on it for 45 days. Pay nothing until you decide.

We do the setup with you — your rooms, menu or stock list, your staff and your prices — in about a day. No card, so there is nothing to cancel. Walk away and you pay nothing: on day 46 the account turns read-only and nothing is deleted. Stay, and it is one flat price a month.
