How it runs, in order
- Add your UPI ID once, in the counter's settings.
- Ring up the bill as usual: tap, scan or type.
- Press UPI. The QR shows the exact amount, on screen and on the printed bill.
- The customer scans and pays from any UPI app.
- You see it on your phone or soundbox and mark the bill paid.
- A second QR on the bill can open your Google review page.

What it does not do
Said plainly, before you decide
- It does not confirm a UPI payment by itself: there is no gateway or soundbox link, so a person checks it came in.
- It is not a billing machine and no hardware is sold.
- There is no e-invoice (IRN) QR. It issues no e-invoices or e-way bills.
- There is no built-in Bluetooth printing. Bills print through the phone's or computer's print window, on 2, 3, 4 or 5 inch rolls.

What is QR code billing?
A QR code on the bill or the screen that a customer scans to pay, with the amount already filled in.
Do I need a QR billing machine?
No. A phone, tablet or computer you already have is enough, with a printer only if you want paper bills.
Does Nivasik charge a fee on UPI payments?
No. The QR is your own UPI ID and the money goes straight to you.
Does the software know when the customer has paid?
No. There is no gateway, so the person at the counter checks and marks it paid.
Is it the QR code required on a GST e-invoice?
No. That needs an e-invoice registration, which Nivasik does not do.
