- Put a bill on khata, then find who owes what.
What Nivasik does not do
Said plainly, before you decide
- It does not file GST returns or issue e-invoices or e-way bills. GST data is exported, and Tally is an import file, not a live link.
- It takes no card payments and runs no payment gateway. The booking page takes a booking as 'pay at the property'.
- There is no built-in Bluetooth printing. Bills print through the phone's or computer's print window, on 2, 3, 4 or 5 inch rolls.
- There is no combined screen across properties. Each property is separate and you switch between them.
- It does not read a weighing scale over USB; it reads label-scale barcodes.

Which is the best billing software for a grocery store in India?
It depends on size. A small kirana is well served by a low-cost app, while a supermarket with many tills needs a retail ERP. The table above says which fits which. We found no reliable source ranking them by use.

Can it bill loose goods by weight?

Does it need a computer?
No. Nivasik runs in a browser on a phone, tablet or computer. A USB or Bluetooth scanner that types like a keyboard works; not every scanner has been tested.
