Free for everyone
Free cafe management software — ₹0, built for a pay-first counter
One tap for Cash or UPI, an order number on a slip, the order on the coffee-bar screen the moment it is paid, and a token screen for the queue — free for everyone as an opening offer, set up with your menu.
Free for everyone · ₹0 · no card · opening offer, until further notice · we do the setup
Nivasik’s cafe management software is free for everyone — ₹0 under an opening offer, until further notice. It is built for a counter that takes the money first: one tap for Cash or UPI, an order number on a slip, the order on the coffee bar’s screen the moment it is paid, and a token screen that tells the customer when it is ready.
Tables, the table QR, a loyalty scheme and the evening’s numbers are all in the same product. There is no card to give, and we set it up with your menu.
A cafe counter, step by step
- Ring it up by tapping the menu — a latte with oat milk and an extra shot is one line: the milk is a pick-one choice that changes the price, the shot an extra that adds to it.
- Take the money in one tap: Cash ₹N or UPI ₹N straight from the cart. For cash, type what the customer handed over and the change shows in large type.
- Hand over the slip: a short order slip with the order number, printed instead of the bill, after it, or not at all — a setting per counter.
- The bar sees it at once: a paid order goes to the kitchen or coffee-bar screen by itself, each drink marked as it is made.
- The customer sees it is ready on the token screen — any spare screen or TV — by their number.
What a cafe gets
- Recipes in grams and millilitres: a cappuccino takes its coffee and milk off the shelf as it sells, and milk bought by the litre is counted in millilitres.
- Opening the day by counting the shelf: what was baked this morning, what is left from yesterday, and what has gone off — which is recorded as wastage, not lost from the count.
- Points for regulars — so much a ₹100, a percentage, or more on a bigger bill — spent at the counter, and printed on the bill if you want them to be.
- A QR on the bill that opens a page where the customer taps stars and gets a draft of a Google review in their own words, to post themselves. Nothing is offered for a review.
- Tables and the table QR for the people who sit down, with an order from the QR checked by a waiter before it reaches the bar.
- A customer screen — a second window on the counter’s computer, turned to face the queue — showing the order and the total as it is rung up.
- Tomorrow’s forecast per item, from the same weekday of the last four weeks — what to bake for a Saturday is not what to bake for a Tuesday.
- The drawer, staff pay, suppliers and expenses in the same place, and a day’s close that says what came in and what went out.
What it costs
| Plan and price | What it covers |
|---|---|
| POS add-on ₹0 per outlet / month | The counter, the order slip, the coffee-bar and token screens, tables and the table QR, recipes, stock, points and the day’s close — per outlet |
- Every plan and add-on is ₹0 and the whole product is unlocked for everyone. No per-guest fees, no usage meters and no setup fee.
- There is no card to give and nothing to pay.
This is an opening offer. We may change it, or end it, at any time, without prior notice. If the offer changes or ends, any price applies from then. Your records stay yours and can be exported on request.
What it does not do
Said plainly, before you start
- Swiggy and Zomato orders do not arrive by themselves yet — they are punched in at the counter. Taking them in by themselves needs a connection through UrbanPiper, which is not live yet (each app keeps its order feed for approved partners).
- No card or UPI terminal integration, no payment gateway.
- The coffee-bar, token and customer screens need the internet; the counter alone keeps billing without it.
- Printing goes through the device’s own print window; there is no silent printing and no cash drawer that opens by itself.

Open the tool →Other free ways to do this, and what they cost
Nivasik is not the only free way to do this. Each of these is worth knowing, and each has a cost that is not on a price list.
A notebook and a calculator
Costs almost nothing and works in a power cut. What it costs is time: every total is added by hand, nobody away from the desk can see it, and an entry can be changed later with nothing to show it was.
A spreadsheet
Free, flexible, and good for a list one person keeps. It struggles when three people edit it on three phones, when a formula is typed over, or when you need to know what it said last Tuesday.
A free edition of a paid product
Some software has a free edition with limits on rooms, bills or users. Read what the limit is, and what happens to your records the day you pass it.
A cash box and a token book
Quick at the counter, and the customer still gets a number. At night nobody knows what sold, what was made and thrown away, or why the box is short.

Questions people ask
Is there free cafe management software?
Nivasik’s cafe POS is free for everyone at ₹0, as an opening offer until further notice: the counter, order slips, the coffee-bar and token screens, recipes, stock, points and the day’s close, with no card and the setup done for you.
Is there a low-cost POS for a small cafe?
It costs ₹0 for everyone while the opening offer runs — not a cut-down edition and not a trial with a clock, so there is nothing cheaper to compare it with. The offer is until further notice: it is not a promise to stay free.
Can it show customers when their order is ready?
Yes. The token screen — any spare screen or TV with a browser — shows each order’s number as it is made and when it is ready.
Can I use a tablet as the cafe POS?
Yes. It runs in any browser on a tablet, phone or computer, and there is an Android app from nivasik.com. Bills print through the device’s own print window on 2, 3, 4 or 5 inch rolls.
Does it handle add-ons like oat milk or an extra shot?
Yes. A pick-one choice such as the milk can change the price, and an extra such as a shot adds to it; both show on the bill and the slip.
Run your own place on it, free. It is ₹0 for everyone.
We do the setup with you — your rooms, menu or stock list, your staff and your prices — in about a day. No card, and nothing to pay while the opening offer runs.
