ISO 27001 and SOC 2 costs come from three places: getting ready, any tools you buy, and the independent auditor's fee. The Nivasik Team helps with the first and tells you honestly how much of the second you need.

The certificate or report comes from an independent auditor, never from us.

Where the money goes

  • Getting ready: a gap assessment, policies people actually follow, and evidence. This is the part you can do cheaply or wastefully.
  • Tools: often optional for a small company.
  • The auditor: paid to them directly, and the part you cannot skip.
  • Your team's time: usually the largest and the least counted.

How to keep it small

  • Scope only the product your customers ask about.
  • Ask whether a customer will accept a VAPT report and a security questionnaire instead, for now.
  • Write policies you will follow; an auditor checks that you do what you wrote.
  • Get two auditors' fees before you buy any tool.

What this is not

Said plainly

  • The Nivasik Team is not a CERT-In empanelled auditor and holds no security certification. If a regulator or customer asks for a report from an empanelled auditor, or for a certificate, that comes from them, not from us.
  • No test proves a system is safe. It shows what was found, in the time and scope agreed.
  • Nothing is guaranteed: not a pass, not a certificate, not a result.

Questions people ask

How much does ISO 27001 or SOC 2 cost in India?

We do not quote a market figure, because the published numbers disagree widely and depend on your size. The cost has three parts: preparing, tools if you use any, and the independent auditor's fee. Get the auditor's fee directly from two auditors.

Do you issue ISO 27001 or SOC 2 certificates?

No. A certification body issues an ISO certificate, and an independent CPA firm issues a SOC report. We help you prepare. We hold neither ourselves.

ISO 27001 or SOC 2: which do I need?

Ask your customers. US customers often ask for SOC 2; many others accept ISO 27001.

Can you guarantee we will pass?

No. Nobody honest can. The auditor decides.
