What is aggregator commission?

Aggregator commission is the share of an order a delivery app such as Swiggy or Zomato keeps, agreed in your contract with it. It is a cost of the order, separate from your software.

Example

An order worth ₹1,000 before tax at 25% commission costs ₹250. If the same menu is marked up to absorb that, compare what is left against your counter price.

What to check

  • Whether the rate is on the value before tax.
  • Payment and discount charges besides the commission.
  • What the weekly payout says against your own records.

How Nivasik handles it

  • Each app order is rung at the app's price, with the commission booked as a cost on the pre-tax value.
  • A payout register to check the weekly transfer.
  • A sheet per dish: what it earns at the counter and after the app's cut.

What Nivasik does not do

  • Orders are typed in at the counter; the link that would deliver them by themselves is not live.
