Example

Dinner: 18 tables, 45 parties. 45 ÷ 18 = 2.5 turns. One more turn across the room is 18 more parties, without another table.

What slows it down

  • Waiting for a waiter to take the order or bring the bill.
  • Food sitting at the pass.
  • A long wait to pay.

How Nivasik handles it

  • Each table shows its state, waiter and running total.
  • QR ordering and the waiter's phone cut the wait to order.
  • Food ready at the pass buzzes that waiter's phone.

What Nivasik does not do

  • Nivasik does not report a table-turn figure as its own number; you can work it out from bills per table.
