A batch number identifies goods made together. A shop that records it on each delivery can sell the nearest expiry first, find a recalled lot, and know what each lot cost.
Example
Two deliveries of one syrup: batch A expires in March at ₹62, batch B in August at ₹66. A sale should take batch A first, and its profit uses ₹62.
How Nivasik handles it
- Each delivery is a lot with its batch, expiry and buying price.
- Sales take in-date stock first, and an expired batch is refused.
- Profit per lot, from what that lot cost.
