What is QR menu?

A QR menu is a menu that opens on a guest's phone when they scan a code on the table. A view-only one replaces the printed card; a QR ordering system also sends the order to the counter and kitchen.

Example

Table 7 scans the code, orders two dosas, and the order appears at the counter with "Table 7" on it. A waiter confirms it, and the kitchen gets a ticket.

How Nivasik handles it

  • One code per table, opening with no app.
  • Orders wait for a waiter's check by default.
  • Dishes you hide or re-price are caught before the order goes.

What Nivasik does not do

  • A guest cannot pay from the page: there is no payment gateway.
