Deleting your account and your data

To delete a Nivasik account, the property’s owner writes to support@nivasik.com from the email Nivasik has on file, or messages us on WhatsApp from the number on file, and names the property. We delete the property and everything in it — bookings, bills, stock, staff logins, and guests’ and customers’ details, scanned ID documents included — and confirm by email when it is done.

Uninstalling the app does not delete anything: the account belongs to the business, not to the phone.

If you own the property

  1. Write to support@nivasik.com from the email address Nivasik has on file for you, or on WhatsApp from the number on file (+91 98126 67600). A request from anywhere else is checked with you first.
  2. Name the property, and say whether you want a copy of your records before they go. If you do, we send the export first.
  3. We delete the property and everything in it, and write back when it is done.

If you have a staff login

  • The owner removes your login on the Staff page; from then on it cannot sign in.
  • To have your details erased too, ask the owner, or write to support@nivasik.com and we pass the request to the business. It decides what it has to keep — a payslip, for example.

If you were a guest or a customer

  • The hotel, restaurant or shop you dealt with is responsible for your details, so the request goes to them.
  • If you are not sure whom to ask, write to support@nivasik.com and we route it to the right business. The Privacy Policy sets out your rights.

What is deleted

  • The property, its settings and every record in it: bookings, bills and payments, orders, stock, expenses, requests and their history.
  • Staff logins, attendance and pay records.
  • Guests’ and customers’ names, phone numbers and addresses, and the scanned ID documents kept for them — removed from storage, not just hidden.

What is kept

  • The invoices Nivasik issued to the business, for our own accounts.
  • The record of changes made to the account — what was changed, and by which login. By design it cannot be edited or removed by anyone, us included.
